About Volar Behavioral

Since 2018, Volar Behavioral Consulting has provided bilingual psychosocial assessment services for over 400 families and individuals for US immigration cases. Psychosocial assessments, or evaluations, are often required for US immigration purposes. Varying on the case, assessments are conducted from one to three sessions with detailed reports on the individual/family’s mental health status and function.

After years of conducting assessments with families from all over the world, we have a breadth of experience in diagnosing mood disorders & trauma and adjustment disorders. Identifying social and educational impacts from the immigration process is also a strength, through our experiences in working with first-generation immigrant communities throughout the state of Ohio, as well as in Maryland and Virginia.

Volar Behavioral provides empathic, trauma-informed services that help minimize the daunting processes of the US immigration system. The legalization process is an investment in one’s future and we understand the importance of providing quality documentation that does not have to drain you financially.

We are comfortable with the use of interpreters and encourage native-language assessments to best meet our client’s needs.

Both clinicians are bilingual in Spanish and have extensive experience in working with the latinx community. We also have access to quality interpreters who are understanding of the assessment process.

Brief counseling services are also offered, contact Corrie (614-377-3078) to discuss your needs.
